George Clooney on Turning 50 in Hollywood

George Clooney states his acting career will probably have a new turn since he's switched 50.The actor, who celebrated his birthday in May, told "Parade" magazine that he's fully conscious of what goes on as stars age in Hollywood."I take a look at myself onscreen and go, 'I don't seem like Used to do after i was 40 -- I understand that,' " he stated. "The folks I have respected most in the market through the years -- Paul Newman, for example. I simply loved the way in which he handled growing older onscreen. It's knowning that you are now essentially a personality actor."Clooney also says he got a regular membership to AARP (American Association of Upon the market Persons), which came as a little of the shock. But that does not mean he isn't still a youngster in mind. Clooney is really a well known prankster in movie sets -- but he states he will get every bit as good because he gives."There's good fun in watching individuals engage in,Inch he stated. "And, hey, my buddies are rough on me, too. Kaira Pitt's brutal, and Matt Damon. My buddies accustomed to change my outgoing phone message constantly ... to something horrible, and there is nothing I possibly could caused by change it out back. Which was always brilliant."Clooney next stars in Alexander Payne's "The Descendants" and "The Ides of March," a political thriller he also directed. The second, by which he plays a presidential candidate, has developed in the works best for quite a while and needed to be placed on hold after the newest presidential election."I was in preproduction about this film in 2007, prior to the Obama election," he stated. "Therefore we recognized that a large amount of the nation was elated using what happened for the reason that election, therefore we needed to shelve the film until everyone was cynical again.
