Becoming and actress in the UK?

I'd like to be a film actress in the UK, but I'm Brazilian.
Would I be able to go into an acting agency? Would you know any famous
and reliable agencies or courses to recommend?

Obs.: I'd rather a not too long lasting course, since I don't live in
the UK.
