Pixar finally makes a sub-par movie...?

I never got Cars, so I'm mystified that there is a Cars 2. If you like
it, I don't judge and truth be told they are not awful films. But come
on,..

Up (masterpiece), Incredibles (classic), Toy Story series (EPIC),..

Cars (????????)... talking cars,.... really?... AND A
SEQUEL??????????????

I understand they may have been under contract to make part 2... and
it may make money... but I'm sure an Up 2 or Monsters Inc 2 would have
been as profitable.

Do you think Cars 2 was a good production choice?
